I have a funny story to tell you all. On Tues. I did the worst thing you can do in Manhattan. I lost my keys!!! Now- the real issue was that those keys opened my bike lock. This turned out to be a big problem. Since I have had 10 bikes stolen in this city I bought this heavy duty chain-- made so that no one could break the lock. I ended up having to call a locksmith. How much do you think this cost me? ------------- $200.00. Now- you see -- I am in the wrong line of work. I should become a locksmith! Think about it- there are millions of people living in Manhattan- you know those guys/gals are busy all day long.

I want to take a moment and the Heather Pollicky for taking the time to e-mail me and express her thoughts. I think it is really important for the women involved in female bodybuilding to stick together. This sport can be very jaded --- and you can feel very alone. She opened my eyes - made me look at things in a different light. I just want you all to know -- I am so happy , so blessed for all the good things that have come out of my competition career thus far. If I walked away- TODAY-- forever, I could honestly say that it was a road to remember. There were many memorable moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Enough about my legs. I am done with that negative talk. It will take time- but, they will come. Thank you Heather- you are a great person and -- if I don't say so myself-- an incredible Bodybuilder. Let's face it- Heather is incredible. If you don't know who I am talking about visit her website www.heathersweb.com

Today- arms!! I am seeing a new client today, a type 1 , aspiring male Bodybuilder. For any of you that are type 1 diabetics-- participating in an exericse program- you should really discuss with your physcian trying to combination of Lantus ( glargine) a new 24 hr. basal insulin with Humalog. I suggest splitting your dosage of lantus - vs. taking it all in the evening. You also might want to stay on your current night time regime- whether it be- Lente or NPH at midnight to prevent the dawn phenomenon ( hyperglycemia ).
