I just got back from Venice, California. We went out there to see the Ironman and celebrate Dave's B-day. It was a great trip. John " Mr. Rxmuscle" Ripa came out with us too -- to see www.kristyhawkins.com , his girlfriend. I just love Venice-- we trained at the Mecca of Bodybuilding, Gold's Gym. We didn't really see anyone famous-- however, I did get a page from the front desk-- apparently, someone thought I would be perfect for this NEW film. We will see- I don't believe anything.
We just got back-- it was a long flight on Jetblue! I just love that airline. Unfortunately- it was a packed flight and Dave and I were right on top of each other. We were both burning up--------we were in the exit row--- no air conditioning back there.
Let me talk about the Ironman. A couple of things. Dexter Jackson won the show-- hands down. Lee Priest looked good, but his ass and hamstrings still could have been tighter. We saw Chris Cormier at Gold's Gym on Sunday--I have to tell you---he looked incredible. He said he stopped partying and was really focused on winning this show. He was standing nearly shredded at 270# with still 2 weeks to go. We all were impressed. He let us take some pictures-- so, if you go to www.davepalumbo.com, you just might be able to see a few.
I am jumping all over the place-- but, I forgot my phone, lab top power chord, and phone line. I had no connection to the outside world. I thought I was going to lose my mind. I had to leave a ridiculous message on my phone-- in case people needed to reach me. I woke up late- that was my problem. I just lost my organizational skills.
I was able to meet one of the young ladies that I am helping, Natalie Spritzer. She hung out with me and Dave on Saturday. She treated us to "Islands" restaurant. It was great. We had a really wonderful time. She is a sweet girl. I am helping for a show in September. I want to keep her true to herself-- not rushing things. Bodybuilding is a life-long journey. My best advice to anyone-- take your time. There are a million short cuts-- but, they just aren't worth it.
I am going to go to sleep. I just wanted
you all to know- I am back. My VIDEO should be arriving soon. I am waiting for
the copies. I have to make a cover-- that is about it.
Again- if you need a web site, need me to maintain a current site, or you just want to ask me questions-- send me an e-mail. I am currently working on Mike Morris and Kim Harris's web sites.
