June 16- 2003

It is a beautiful day in NYC. The weather is finally great. All it does is rain here. I just got back from the Jr. Natioanl's-- it was great to see all my old friends. My friends ( Brain Hoydic, Frank from Michigan, Mac Shumar, Hope Zarro, Kristin ( MW FBB), and Michelle Falsetta) all did well. There was a lot of great competition, especially in the figure division. Hope was one of 40+ figure competitors in the Short Class. Although she was the most beautiful on stage, she needed to be a little tighter. She still placed in the top 10 and I was really proud of her. I was also very impressed with Kristin ( MW) and Michelle ( HW) on stage. They both were very hard and looked great. I thought that the MW overall winner was incredible. She reminded me of myself-- we share a similar look. The HW class had some great potential but many of the competitors needed to be harder. At the end of the day you have to do this sport b/c you love it. You have to display the best body for YOU. I have created an image in my mind--i hope to finally display that image at the USAs.

The dieting is going great. I am on it. I just have to stay ultra focused for the next 6 weeks. I need every one of those weeks. I have a lot of stuff to take care of before then. I am deciding if I want to get new suits or just keep the suits that I was going to use for National's last year.
